1. Answer any one of the following questions in about 40-60 words.

(a) "Tanjore arts are different from any other painting style", justify the statement with example. Why did the Deccan style become very popular in the surrounding regions? (See Lesson-10)

4. Answer any one of the following questions in about 100-150 words.

(a) Indian folk artists make their own colours from locally available materials, such as vegetables and minerals. Details of these materials are given in your text book. Experiment with all these natural colours by mixing them with gum. You can alsoadd a few more vegetable colours of your choice. Use these homemade colours to make a village scene. (See Lesson-14)


(b) Observe carefully the picture "Falcon on a Bird Rest". This is a superb example of Ustad Mansur's work, justify in your own words. (See Lesson-7)


5. Answer any one of the following questions in about 100-150 words.

(a) Collect newspaper and magazine cuttings of festivals of India, for example–Diwali, Id, Christmas and Buddha Jayanti. Use all these cuttings to create a collage on the theme 'National integration'. (See Lesson-3)

(b)What type of materials Ramkinkar used for sculpture. Name any one sculpture of Ramkinkar and describe. (See Lesson-13)


6. Prepare any one project of the following projects given below.

(a) What are the differences between manmade and natural objects? Draw at least two of each of the objects.

(b) Make sketches from flowers, leaves, flower buds creeper even trees. This will symmetrical pattern but colour with help of colour scheme.
