a) Ramesh has created one birthday wishes card for Surbhi and named it “SURBHI” and kept this under another folder “BIRTHDAY”. Now he also want to have similar card for Rahul(Content will remain same). Write down the steps to make a copy of the file “Surbhi” and name it “Rahul”. (See Lesson 2)
Ans - To make a copy of the file "Surbhi" and name it "Rahul" in the "BIRTHDAY" folder, you can follow these steps:
- Open the File Explorer or Finder on your computer to navigate to the location where the "BIRTHDAY" folder is stored.
- Locate the "BIRTHDAY" folder and double-click to open it.
- Inside the "BIRTHDAY" folder, you should see the "Surbhi" birthday wishes card file. Right-click on the "Surbhi" file.
- From the context menu that appears, select "Copy." This will copy the file to your clipboard.
- Right-click on an empty space within the "BIRTHDAY" folder, and select "Paste." This will create a copy of the "Surbhi" file in the same folder.
- The copy will be named "Copy of Surbhi." To rename it to "Rahul," right-click on the newly created file (Copy of Surbhi), select "Rename," and then type "Rahul" as the new file name.
Now you have a copy of the birthday wishes card named "Rahul" in the "BIRTHDAY" folder, and you can edit its content as needed while keeping the original "Surbhi" card intact.
b) Sudhir has created a word file and named it “National Heritage” on a computer which is also shared by his siblings. Write down the steps for protecting the document as Read Only Document? (See Lesson 3)

- Open Excel: Launch Microsoft Excel on your computer.
- Open an Existing Workbook or Create a New One: You can either open an existing workbook where you want to add a new worksheet or create a new workbook by going to "File" > "New" and selecting a blank workbook.
- Navigate to the Worksheet Tabs: At the bottom of the Excel window, you'll see the worksheet tabs. The default name is usually "Sheet1."
- Right-Click on a Worksheet Tab: Right-click on the worksheet tab that is adjacent to where you want to add a new worksheet.
- Select "Insert": From the context menu that appears when you right-click, choose the "Insert" option.
- Choose Worksheet: In the "Insert" dialog box, select "Worksheet" and click "OK."
- Rename the Worksheet (optional): The new worksheet will be named "SheetX," where X is the next available number. If you want to rename it, double-click on the tab, type the new name, and press Enter.
You've now added a new worksheet to your Excel workbook, and you can start working on it or organizing your data as needed.
